The daily battle between the mailman and the dog is a long-running tradition, but UPS driver Jason Hardesty is calling a truce. While on his daily New Orleans route, the self-described “easily entertained UPS driver” takes the time to stop and greet the adorable dogs he meets along the way. And instead of barking and chasing him out of their territory, the pups happily pose for a selfie.
Hardesty began posting Instagram selfies with his canine pals back in February, 2018. Using the hashtag #pupsofjay, his weekly updates showcase the many adorable pooches who live in the area. From tiny puppies to huge hounds, Hardesty poses with each pet outside their home and introduces them to his followers by name. His charming photos clearly show that Hardesty has a way with animals—each pup seems to enjoy the attention, and some are even captured giving him doggy kisses.
